Maggie Mick, Senior Advisor

Maggie serves as Senior Advisor to the Institute and is currently Vice President with MultiState. She heads the firm’s Stakeholder Engagement Practice and leads national issue campaigns for several clients from various industries. She serves on the national finance committees for Republican Governors Association, Democratic Governors Association, and The Council of State Governments and expertly navigates dozens of national policymaker organizations on behalf of clients. Before joining MultiState’s leadership team, she spent nearly 12 years at The Council of State Governments (CSG). Her final role was Chief Advancement Officer, leading strategic partnerships and external relations for major stakeholders including legislative leadership and the private sector. Prior to her tenure at CSG, she was an aide in the United States Congress and held public office as a member of the Lancaster City Council for two terms. Maggie is a sought after speaker and print source contributor. She also hosts the popular industry podcast, The Political Life.
